Our Philosophy
We are committed to producing the highest quality produce while prioritising sustainability and environmental responsibility in all that we do.
We are committed to improving efficiency, reducing our environmental impact, and maintaining healthy soil through sustainable farming practices.
Crop Rotation
We rotate the crops grown in each field every year—growing cauliflower one year, spring wheat the next, and beans the following year. This helps control weeds, pests, and diseases naturally, while keeping the soil healthy.
Cover Crops
We grow special crops that protect and enrich the soil. These crops help keep the soil moist, reduce erosion, and add important nutrients, making the soil healthier for future crops. They also help manage weeds and support wildlife.
Over-Winter Stubble
After harvest, we leave the leftover plants in the fields. This provides food and shelter for wildlife, especially birds, during the winter months. The stubble also helps prevent soil erosion, keeps moisture in the soil, and stops weeds from growing.
GPS-guided Tractors
Using modern GPS technology, our tractors use less fuel, compact the soil less, and make sure we don’t waste any space when planting or cultivating. This also helps us target weeds more precisely, reducing the need for chemicals and benefiting both the crops and the environment.
